With our bespoke education programmes, your salon management team directs trainees’ creative development, allowing you to motivate and inspire your team so they achieve the high standards you demand, while ACT shoulders the burden of bureaucracy that comes with accreditation.

ACT’s programmes cater for all levels of experience, from S/NVQ Level 1-3 to internal assessor and Higher National level. Our visiting educators work in close collaboration with your in-house salon trainers to ensure all trainees develop the necessary skills for qualification, including the core areas of communication, numeracy, problem-solving, working with others and information technology, as well as soft skills in areas such as self-confidence, presentation and the ability to talk effectively to clients.

We reject the idea that one-size-fits-all training will work. Our unique and innovative approach to education allows individuals to fulfil their potential at their own pace, to ensure they become excellent, well-rounded and high-yielding hairdressers.

ACT also works with schools across Scotland delivering Core Skills and Skills for Work courses to pupils aged 14 to 16.
